Supported Formats

Audio input

MP3, WAV, AIFF, M4A, CAF, FLAC, AAC, and other files AVFoundation can decode

Audio output

WAV, AIFF, CAF (PCM); M4A (AAC, HE-AAC, HE-AAC v2, ALAC). No MP3 encoder.

Video input

MP4, MOV, M4V, AVI, MKV, and other files AVFoundation can decode

Video output

MP4 and MOV. Codecs: H.264, H.265, ProRes 422/4444 (ProRes is MOV-only). M4V is input-only.

System Requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or later
  • Universal — Apple Silicon and Intel
  • Enough free disk space for the converted files
  • 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended for large batches)
